Document Description
CDFW has issued this Restoration Management Permit (RMP) pursuant to section 2081(a) of the Fish and Game Code to East Bay Regional Park District. This Project will remove 72 cubic feet of sediment from a culvert running under Bluff Road, restoring the flow of water from horizontal wells into a formerly perennial pond. The Project is expected to benefit California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense), referred to as the Covered Species. The Project is estimated to take five individuals of the Covered Species in the form of catch, capture and relocation during construction of the Project. Permittee is authorized to relocate the Covered Species out of harm’s way. CDFW has determined and expects that the Project will benefit, aid in the conservation of, and assist in the recovery of the Covered Species.
