Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Cal. Code Regs., tit. 14, § 15301
Reasons for Exemption
This project involves minor alteration of existing private structure or facility by proposing to design and build-out a low-rate initial production manufacturing line for more cost effective, energy-efficient wastewater processing. The activities funded by the agreement will not cause a direct physical change in the environment or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment because the proposed scope of work will be performed at an existing processing plant. No building additions will be proposed as part of the scope of work. For these reasons, the project will not have significant effect on the environment and falls under categorical exemption listed in 14 CCR A. Section 15301.
