The project includes work in four locations: Glenbrook Ln and Mauer Ave, with some work in Panama Ave and California Ave; Wintun Dr, with some work in Shirley Ave and Grant Ave; North Ave between Fair Oaks Blvd and Winsome Lane; and Pinecrest Cir and Forest Hill Ct, with some work in Barrett Rd. The work in each of the four locations includes but is not limited to: installing new 8-inch ductile iron pipe and new 6-inch ductile iron pipe; with multiple appurtenance upgrades such as hydrants, water meter upgrades and water service line upgrades, with approximately 3500 linear feet of existing water pipeline abandonment; and road restoration.

This project involves the replacement or reconstruction of existing water utility systems and/or facilities that involve negligible or no expansion of capacity. The purpose of this project is to bring aging water lines up to the current minimum industry standards to serve existing development, and/or to provide adequate capacity for fire protection.
