Document Description
California State University, Monterey Bay proposes to renovate the existing Freeman Stadium and Field House on the campus. The project proposes improvements to the existing Field House, athletic track and field, seating, and parking, as well as installing a new scoreboard, ticket box, lighting, telecommunications and other utilities, concession stands, and entrance. The Monterey Bay Football Club would share in the use of the facilities under a 14-year agreement with the University. A Draft Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration was circulated for public review and comment for 30 days between July 9, 2021 and August 9, 2021.
