Document Description
The proposed project would demolish the aging infrastructure on site and construct a new maintenance yard consisting of a three story high (approximately 65 feet) district office building, warehouse, fleet maintenance facility, and underground parking structure. The underground parking structure would provide 157 parking spaces for employee vehicles and small fleet vehicles. 23 surface-level parking spaces would be provided for large fleet vehicles. All parking spaces will be equipped with EV chargers. The proposed project would also provide 10,350 square feet (sf) of outdoor storage facilities and a fueling station. Remediation of contaminated soils would take place prior to the construction of the new structures. Solar panels will be installed on the roof of the three-story office building, the fueling pad, and the fleet parking area for energy efficiency. The location of the proposed project is on the corner of Hoover Street and Clinton Street. The overall purpose of the project is to expand the capacity of the yard to meet increasing power demands from the City of Los Angeles.
