Document Description
The Project is comprised of the development of 75.4 acres of undeveloped land (60 acres on-site and 15.4 acres of off-site improvements) into an industrial warehouse development. Project Activities include vegetation clearing, grubbing, vegetation removal, discing, grading, building construction/utility installation, paving, architectural coating, and off-site utility improvements. The amendment updates the off-site improvements acreage to allow utilities to be trenched in the right-of-way, rather than the road as originally intended. This includes the take of 5 additional WJT. The amendment also corrects the number of WJT to be relocated from 32 WJT to 14 WJT in the ITP to match the previously approved relocation plan that was an attachment to the ITP. The Project will result in incidental take of 133 western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia). which is protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
