The proposed project will involve the construction of new recharge basins totaling 48 gross acres, a new inlet and pipeline to the Tule River Intertie from an existing irrigation well, and new gravity fed outlets from the Phase 1 basins to the Phase 2 basins. This project does not entail any modification to the Friant Kern Canal. The Project will incorporate 13 gross-acres of existing recharge basins, an existing turnout from the FKC, existing 15” and 30” pipelines, and six existing wells.
