Document Description
The project is a helicopter landing zone (HLZ), located along Cleghorn Road (34°17'13.30"N, 117°22'9.07"W). The ~0.15-acre HLZ will be utilized by Southern California Edison (SCE), California Department of Parks and Recreation (Department), and other agencies as needed. The purpose of the project is for insertion and extraction: human external cargo flights to move personnel to and from towers and other infrastructure inaccessible from the ground, as well as delivery of tools and materials for wire stringing operation.
