NOP and Draft Subsequent Environmental Impact Report. The project is a proposal to expand mining operations at the Ward Lake Pit (CA mine ID #91-18-0008). If approved, the Use Permit would allow for an expansion of approximately 51 acres, an associated additional volume of 5,000,000 tons of material, an extension of the life of the mine from 2030 to 2050, and increase of maximum volume per year from 100,000 to 200,000 tons per year.
