Document Description
The project consists of the engineering and replacement of relay protection equipment for the Parkview Substation. Specifically, the project involves the replacement of eight (8) Distribution Protection Units (DPUs) with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) 351 and 751 relays. The old relays will be saved as spares for emergencies. Removal of the obsolete equipment will provide more reliable protection and the ability to gather accurate metering data through supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and give IID Distribution Engineering modeling capabilities.
