Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is the Lead Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience (SAFER) Drinking Water Program is financing the Project. The State Water Board approved funding for the project on March 23, 2020.The project is to provide technical assistance to small disadvantaged communities to develop, fund, and implement their capital improvement projects. The project will also provide bridge loans to water systems serving small disadvantaged communities that are party to an executed Drinking Water State Revolving Fund construction funding agreement, as well as provide Emergency Fund Grants to water systems serving small disadvantaged communities.
