The Grape Solar Project is located on a ~1,759-acre site in central Kings County, and is planned to generate a total of 250 MW of electrical output from solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. The solar project is planned to be constructed over a 14-month period commencing in 2022. The project will include a substation which will step up the project power from 34.5-kV to 230-kV for transmission. The project includes a 7.3-mile Gen-Tie Line extending from the on-site project substation to the Fresno County line.
