Document Description
The project proposes to improve the South Lake Tahoe Safety Project on U.S. Highway 50 in El Dorado County from post mile 75.4 to 80.1. This is a safety project that proposes to improve roadway lighting and include several complete street elements designed to improve safety for the corridor by installing a green bike lane treatment and enhanced visibility crosswalks. The project will also improve bicycle signage throughout the project limits and install a two-stage turn queue box for bike crossings at multiple locations for additional bicycle safety.
