The proposed Aratina Solar project would involve construction and operation of five (5) solar photovoltaic power generating facilities that would generate a combined total of approximately 530 megawatts (MW) of renewable electrical energy and 600 MW of energy storage on 2,554 acres of privately-owned land in unincorporated Kern County. It is anticipated that approximately 2,317 acres will be utilized for the construction of the solar panels and permanent facilities
