The project will widen the easterly portion of Date Palm Drive between East Palm Canyon Drive and Perez Road to accommodate new curb and gutter, sidewalk, and six-foot Class II bike lanes in the northbound and southbound directions. The segment of roadway is approximately 0.3 mile in length. The project includes widening of the existing bridge over the North Cathedral Canyon Flood Control Channel.
