The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-LAN-19642-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Los Angeles County Public Works (LACPW). LACPW proposes to conduct the seismic retrofitting of The Old Road Bridge to bring it into conformance with current seismic standards. Project construction involves the installation of a variety of seismic retrofitting techniques on The Old Road Bridge. These retrofits are intended to result in permanent improvements to the existing structure of the bridge, including its abutments, piers, and footings. The Project also includes on-site habitat restoration as well as maintenance and monitoring of restored areas
