Document Description
The Project includes the development of 2.55 acres, of which 2.13 acres are undeveloped, to construct a 50-unit apartment complex including parking areas, utilities, and landscaping. The foundation of a residential home will be demolished. Project activities include grubbing and grading of the entire 2.13 acres of undeveloped land, trench digging, tree removal, installing a storm drain pipe, and other activities within the approximately 2.55-acre Project footprint (Figure 2). The Project will take approximately 12 months to complete. The Project will result in permanent impacts to 2.13 acres of California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) upland habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander, which is designated as a threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
