Document Description
The project is limited to ten (10) encroachments for the installation of bridges for trail use on County owned property within the McKay Community Forest, southeast of the City of Eureka (Figure 1). All bridges will span the channel; all footings shall be located outside of the streambank and past the break in slope. Most of the bridges will be installed using hand labor and tools, though two are anticipated to be railcar bridges requiring the use of an excavator.
