Document Description
The purpose of the proposed project is for annexation of the identified lands into the Buena Vista Water Storage District {District) boundaries. All the lands to be annexed are solely owned by the District. Such annexation will assist in the District's management of its facilities and permit the exploration of potentials projects to efficiently provide reliable water service to District landowners. This project is intended to benefit all landowners within the District.

Reasons for Exemption
The instant project does not involve the construction or alteration of any facilities, or any change in existing uses of the property. The property will remain in its present condition until such time as plans for future use of the property are developed and fully considered. Any future use or development will be subject to further, separate, review for compliance with CEQA as necessary. In light of the foregoing, it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the proposed project has the potential to have a significant adverse effect on the environment. As such, the proposed project is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15061(b)(3).
