Document Description
The Applicant proposes to construct and operate a utility-scale solar generating facility (proposed Project) proposed to be developed on approximately 1,197 acres within the City of Adelanto (City) in San Bernardino County (County). Solar electricity generated by the proposed Project would be delivered by an approximately 5-mile generation-tie (gen-tie) and communication line that would extend to the Southern California Edison (SCE) Roadway substation. The proposed Project site would require a Location and Development Plan, (LDP), Solar Energy Overlay Zone and Conditional Use Permit (CUP) pursuant to a Zoning Code Amendment, (ZCA) and General Plan Amendment/ Zone Change (GPA/ZC) from the City for facility construction, operation, and decommissioning.
