The proposed Raceway 2.0 Solar Project (proposed project) is a proposal by sPower Development Company, LLC (project proponent) to construct and operate photovoltaic (PV) solar facilities and the associated infrastructure necessary to generate a combined total of 291 megawatts (MW) of renewable electrical energy
and/or energy storage capacity in the form of advanced energy battery storage units on approximately 1,330 acres of privately owned land in the unincorporated area of eastern Kern County, California.
