Document Description
This Project will restore coastal dune habitat with the removal of invasive species such as European beachgrass (Ammophila arenaria), yellow bush lupine (Lupinus arboreus), iceplant (Carpobrotus edulis x C. chilense), and invasive annual grasses. The Project is expected to benefit beach layia (Layia carnosa) and Humboldt Bay wallflower (Erysimum menziesii), referred to as the Covered Species. The Project is estimated to take 400 beach layia and 15 Humboldt Bay wallflower in the form of incidental mortality of the Covered Species during restoration activities.
