Five Bridge Rail Upgrades

This project proposes to address bridge rail deficiencies for five bridges located on SR 96 and SR 169, in Humboldt county. Additional work includes bridge deck strengthening, upgrading Metal Beam Guard Rail (MBGR) with Midwest Guardrail System (MGS), and upgrading terminal systems and crash cushions.
The proposed project is located in Humboldt County on (State Route) SR 96 and SR 169 at various Post Miles.

Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project has no potential to result in significant effects to the environment giving Class 1 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination.
