Document Description
Request for a five year Limited Term Use Permit for a commercial cannabis operation, including manufacturing, processing, and distribution of cannabis. Operation will occupy 10,023 square feet of space within an existing 14,742 square foot building on a 1.73-acre parcel. On-site processing of off-site-grown cannabis will occur, consisting of drying, weighing, curing, grading, trimming, storing, packaging, and labeling of non-manufactured cannabis. The facility will operate 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Deliveries and shipping operations will be limited to the hours of 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The operation will have a maximum of 10 employees. The operation will not be open to the public. No cultivation will take place at the facility. The use shall be operated in accordance with the proposal statement and operational plan located in File# UPC19-0008 as modified by conditions.

The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the CEQA Guidelines, pursuant to the Provisions of Title 14 of the California Administrative Code, Section 15301{a) {Existing Facilities) and Section 15303{e) {New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures), as an existing unit in an industrial facility converting from one use to another but involving no expansion and only minor construction, including interior tenant improvements. No exceptions listed under Section 15300.2 apply. There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment.
