Document Description
The proposed project would occupy approximately 400 square feet of a concrete ramp in front of Loading Docks 20 and 21 at the UC San Diego Trade Street Warehouse located at 7835 Trade Street, San Diego, CA. The proposed use of the area would be to install a battery energy storage system (ESS) that would feed an existing electrical subpanel in Suite 200. Minor trenching in an existing concrete area would be required for installation of electrical conduit. The battery system would operate from Q2 2021 to Q2 2023, after which the system would be removed and the site would be returned to original condition.
