Document Description
Eight culverts are identified for repair or replacement. Culverts requiring replacement will be replaced as close to the existing alignment (horizontal/vertical) as possible. All vehicles and equipment would remain on the roadway and ample shoulder and turnout areas are available throughout the project limits for staging. Components of this process may include drainage, culverts, limited ground disturbance, vegetation removal, and work adjacent to public lands. The purpose of this project is to replace or rehabilitate drainage systems identified by the Culvert Inspection Program as deteriorated and beyond their useful service life. This project is needed because without such repair or replacement, the roadway could be subject to washout requiring more extensive roadway construction.
