Document Description
The Sierra Nevada Conservancy would provide funding in the amount of $100,000 to the U.S. Forest Service, Lassen National Forest, to complete pre-implementation surveys, and prepare a NEPA/CEQA document. This project is a part of a landscape-level project within the Burney-Hat Creek Basins Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Project (CFLRP). This planning and environmental compliance would support future implementation of the CFLRP, with the goal to increase landscape level resilience to disturbances including fire, insects, disease, and drought, and protect local communities.
