Document Description
The project proposes to improve horizontal and vertical curves and widen shoulders to provide two 12.5-foot wide lanes and two 4-foot wide shoulders. One existing 24" corrugated steel pipe (CSP) culvert would be replaced in-kind. One existing 24” CSP culvert would be relocated due to conflicts with the new retaining wall. The new culvert would inlet from a newly constructed bioswale and empty into a 14’ x 6’ end treatment area of rock slope protection (RSP). A new Mechanically Stabilized Embankment (MSE) retaining wall and Midwestern Guardrail System (MGS) would be constructed.
