Document Description
The Applicant proposes to move a heavy load across the railroad bridge (Mile Post 197.9) over San Juan Creek. This existing railroad bridge is scheduled to be replaced in 2021, and the proposed heavy load will exceed the existing bridge's weight capacity. Because the bridge in its current condition is incapable of holding this heavy load, the bridge will be temporarily supported by a jack system while the load crosses. The Project will temporarily support the bridge while the load crosses. Although the proposed San Juan Creek Bridge Replacement Project will begin in 2021, this move must occur in 2020.
