- Document Description
- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0056-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Daniel Wilson/Reclamation District #3. The project involves repairing up to 1,800 feet of critical levee erosion, bank loss, and waterside instability by placing rock along the waterside levee slope and restoring riparian habitat by establishing a waterside berm planted with native species. Site preparation activities include clearing ruderal plants (e.g. blackberries), debris, and grading to remove major voids or variability in the levee slope. Some excavation may be required to prepare the levee for the rock slope protection and approximately six trees will be removed for safety reasons.
