Document Description
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) proposes complete interior abatement and soft demolition within UC Hall in preparation for the eventual demolition of the building. The proposed work would abate hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, and other hazardous materials commonly found in older buildings; and provide selective demolition of non-structural interior building elements such as: drop ceilings, non-bearing walls, other surface finishes, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The proposed project is consistent with the UCSF 2014 Long Range Development Plan, as amended.
