Document Description
The proposed project would renovate Miner Park to provide improved recreational amenities for the local community. Renovations would be developed within the existing boundary of Miner Park. The proposed project includes construction of a dog park; picnic shelter and picnic tables; a new restroom (360 square feet); parcourse exercise equipment; new sidewalks and ADA-accessible paths: grass active play areas: replacement of the full basketball court: addition of shade structures to the skate park: and an expansion of the skate park (from 1,636 square feet to 3,630 square feet).

Reasons for Exemption
Class 2 consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced. Class 3 consists of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures: Installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures; and the conversion of existing small structures from one use to another where only minor modifications are made In the exterior of the structure. Class 4 consists of minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry or agricultural purposes.
