The Project is limited to stream impacts associated with the maintenance of non-native vegetation within a section of La Mirada Creek, a flood control channel which transects Biola University in order to restore and preserve the stream capacity, which has been substantially reduced over time by the deposition of sediment during seasonal inflows and vegetative growth.

This project will result in minor alterations to maintain the existing flood control channel. The project will not result in expansion of the existing channel.
