Document Description
The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority (Authority) proposes to implement an Integrated Pest Management (1PM) Program to direct management of all pests on Authority open space preserves. The 1PM Program would expand upon the types, frequency, and geographic extent of existing !PM activities conducted by the Authority. The 1PM Program is intended to formalize guidelines and procedures for the careful management of pests throughout the Authority's preserves while protecting natural resources and public health. Under the 1PM Program, the Authority would increase the number of manual, mechanical, and chemical treatment projects occurring simultaneously.
