Document Description
Replace all twenty-two (22) window sashes at the Sugar Pine Caretaker's House in Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park to protect this cultural resource and allow continued use of the building as an employee residence. Work will: • Remove, label, and store the existing historic sashes in the Pump House; • Carefully remove the existing interior window stops and trim and set aside for reuse; • Install twenty-two (22) new double pane, clear yellow pine sashes (identical in wood, dimension, and style to the originals) with antique brass hardware; • Utilize tempered safety glass where required by law; • Paint to match existing interior and exterior; and • Repair and stabilize the exterior sills as needed and repaint the exterior of the house.
