Document Description
The CA Dept. of Transportation will make improvements to ten existing chain control turnouts on US 395 and build two new chain control turnouts; one on US 395 near the SR 203 intersection (Mammoth Lakes) and the other on US 06 near Slim Princess Rd. Due to increased winter traffic, existing chain control areas can become crowded during peak times. Improvements include new signage, flashing beacons and lighting.
