Document Description
The Project is the replacement of approximately 8,980 linear feet of 2-inch waterlines with 6-inch waterlines, 37,490 linear feet of 6-inch waterlines with 10-inch waterlines, upgrading of 172 water valves, upgrading of 940 service connections, and the replacement of 29 fire hydrants in the City of Gridley. The Project will abandon in place portions of the pipeline while removing other portions. All construction will occur within the existing street and alley right-of-way {ROW) except for the pipelines running through Manual Vierra Park, the Sycamore Middle School playfields, and an approximately 300-foot 2-inch pipe replacement on Spruce Street. The pipeline replacement running through the park will occur within the grass field. The pipeline on Spruce Street will run through the Butte County Library parking lot, a residential back yard, and an office parking lot.
