Reasons for Exemption
The biological survey (File No. LIB170420) concludes there is no evidence of endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat that would require preparation of an EIR in accordance with Section 15065 of the CEQA Guidelines. There is no evidence the subject parcel has ever been a location for use or storage of hazardous materials. The project proposes restoration of unpermitted grading of an existing trail and re-vegetation of unpermitted vegetation removal (approximately 2,100 square feet), along with monitoring and reporting for at least three years after completion of trail restoration. No significant environmental impact would result with implementation of this project either individually or cumulatively.
