Document Description
The project proposes a General Plan Amendment/Zone Change (GPA/ZC) on 10.1 acres located generally on the northeast corner of the Hosking Avenue and Wible Road intersection. The request includes: (1) an amendment of the Land Use Element of the Metropolitan Bakersfield General Plan land use designation from LMR (Low Medium Density Residential) to GC (General Commercial}, or a more restrictive designation, and (2) a change in zone classification from R-1 (One Family Dwelling) and RS (Residential Suburban) to zone C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial). The project proposes the development of a gas station, shops, restaurants, and fast food.
