Document Description
California Resources Corporation (CRC) is requesting an amendment to the Resource Conservation Element of the 2035 Kings County General Plan and the Kings County Development Code. This amendment would assist the County in updating these documents with regard to oil and gas exploration and production. With the recent adoption of new regulations by the State of California and the increase in oil demand, updates to the Element and Development Code are necessary to ensure the continued safe extraction of a vital resource within Kings County.
