The Project includes a Specific Plan amendment to add two new planning areas covering 71.69 acres to the Ontario Ranch Business Park Specific Plan, originally approved October 2020, and would allow up to 1,640,690 square feet of warehouse and office uses within the Business Park and Industrial land use districts. The Specific Plan Amendment proposes a comprehensive land use plan, circulation plan, street scape plan, infrastructure service plan, grading plan, maintenance plan, phasing plan, design guidelines, development regulations, and implementation measures to guide the development of the Project site into a master-planned industrial and business park. The Project's proposed land use and zoning designations are consistent with the TOP 2050 designated land use districts of Business Park and Industrial and associated underlying zoning. The Project was approved by the City of Ontario City Council on October 18, 2022, after which this Notice of Determination (NOD) was filed timely on October 19, 2022, with the County Clerk and State Clearinghouse.
