Document Description
Cal Water proposes to improve water service reliability by construction of a new water supply well to an estimated depth of 800 feet and capacity of 2.16 to 2.88 million gallons per day. The Project includes drilling, construction and testing of the new well. A catch basin and connection to an existing storm drain will be constructed to discharge water during the well development process. Prior to drilling, a temporary noise wall will be erected along the eastern property border to shield Fire Station No. 4 from construction noise. A slump stone building will be constructed to house the electrical and treatment facilities if needed, and will contain aeration equipment, ion exchange vessels, booster pumps, and chemical injection facilities. Fencing, a security system, paving, and landscaping will be included in site development.
