Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0553-R 1, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Deer Creek Irrigation District The project is limited to fish passage and protection work on the Deer Creek Irrigation District (DCID) diversion located on Deer Creek. This work includes: 1) replacing the existing off-channel fish screen and juvenile bypass pipe, 2) lowering approximately 1,250 feet of existing diversion ditch, 3) creating an engineered roughened channel for 215 feet to provide fish passage for all life stages of fish, and 4) removing the existing concrete and flash board diversion structure and fish screen.
