Document Description
The Renewable Placer Waste Action Plan is a long-term plan to identify and evaluate changes needed to WPWMA facilities and operations. The Waste Action Plan will address solid waste project elements, including landfill capacity extension, composting, construction and demolition processing, and public facilities; complementary/programmatic elements, including a pilot study area, reservation of space for compatible manufacturing, reservation of space for a university research area, and reservation of space for a landfill gas to compressed natural gas area; and supporting elements, including recovered materials storage areas, storm-water ponds, road crossings, maintenance areas, administrative buildings, parking areas, continued use of the existing materials recovery facility, a Household Hazardous waste facility, and redesigned site entrances.
