CalVet is proposing to build an approximate 285,000-gross square-foot (gsf) SNF, containing 40 beds to provide long-term care services, including skilled nursing, and skilled nursing for resident veterans with dementia. The project design of the proposed Skilled Nursing Facility is currently undetermined. The project would require an estimated 80 to 100 new staff, in addition to the 950 staff who currently work on site. Project construction could require demolition and possible hazards material abatement of existing structures. Utility infrastructure improvements would be required.
