Document Description
The project proposes to expand the existing WWTP from a treatment capacity of 0.5 million gallons per day (mgd) to 1.27 mgd by duplicating the existing Biolac/clarifier system, activated sludge system, secondary clarifier, and sludge drying beds. A new, larger Biolac/clarifier system would be provided and the existing six sludge drying beds would be duplicated. Two of the existing ponds on the project site would be converted to percolation ponds. Ponds 15 and 17 are proposed to be reconfigured into three ponds. The top ten feet of soil would be removed from the bottom of pond 15 and the top five feet of soil would be removed from the bottom of Pond 17. Access ramps would be included for operation and maintenance. A new septage receiving station would be installed north of the WWTP on the southwest side of existing Pond 11 .
