Document Description
The city is proposing to rehabilitate the deteriorating pavement throughout the project area as well as implement safety improvements, including adding separated bike lanes, enhancing the mid-block crossings for pedestrians, and improving lighting. In addition, vehicle travel lanes along segments of the project area would be modified as warranted by traffic analysis. Traffic signalization at the intersection of Jefferson Blvd and Merkeley Ave would be upgraded to include dedicated left turns. Traffic signal equipment along Jefferson Blvd, Westacre Rd, Poplar Ave and Harbor Blvd may be upgraded as well. This work would be conducted within existing ROW and existing fill, and would not require bridge widening over the unnamed ditch between Enterprise Blvd and Northport Dr. Note: See MND for full details.
