Document Description
Swanson Engineering representing Dr. Victor Kitt (property owner), is proposing a GPA/ZC on 21.14 acres located on the eastside of Union Ave about 440 ft north of East Berkshire Rd and south of, and adjacent to, the Arvin-Edison Canal. The request includes: (1) an amendment of the Land use element of the Metropolitan Bakersfield GP LUD from LR to HMR, or a more restrictive designation, and (2) a change in zone classification from R-1 to R-2, or a more restrictive district. The project proposes the development of up to 67 one-story duplexes (134 dwelling units) and one onsite drainage sump.
