Document Description
Caltrans proposes construction of a salt shed at the Caltrans Camp Connell Maintenance Station on SR 4 at PM 49.6 in Calaveras County. The scope of work includes excavation, installation of slab foundation, relocation of utilities, and construction of the shed and a concrete apron in front of the shed. All work will occur within Caltrans ROW. The purpose of this project is to properly store salt and deicing pellets used to de-ice portions of SR-4. The project is needed to ensure motorist safety during the winter season.
