Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Amendment No. 1 to Streambed Alteration Agreement (Agreement) number 1600-2019-0191-R4, issued to MCC Telephony of the West LLC (Mediacom Communications). The Agreement includes installation of a new fiber optic telecommunications cable. The Amendment changes the method to horizontal directional drilling at the 14 parts of Crossing No. 36 in place of trenching. Work at 8 crossings will be completed using trenched installation, 35 crossings will be completed using horizontal directional drilling (boring), five areas will include a combination of trenched installation and boring, and one crossing will include boring and attachment to an existing bridge.
